VOTE!

Today is election day. Vote like your country depends on it. Vote like your democracy depends on it. Vote like your life depends on it. That means voting the straight Democratic ticket wherever you are. On a national level, voting Democratic will provide a check against the Trumpist Republican party and the demagogue Trump, limiting their ability to further destroy our democracy and tear this country apart. Locally, voting Democratic will limit the extreme gerrymandering and massive voter suppression that disenfranchises millions. Locally, voting Democratic means that your state and local governments will be there to help protect you when the Republicans eliminate Obamacare and cut Medicaid, Medicare, and even Social Security as they have promised to do. And that may actually save your life. I know it will save mine and my wife's.
